As part of the new bloggers group I have been part of this year, we were invited to join a ‘create a block’ blog tour in September using some gorgeous Cloud9 organic cirrus solid fabrics.
My bundle arrived yesterday and the colours are divine! I have been very interested to see what the organic cotton would feel like and I am loving them 🙂
There has been some fabric patting as I try to narrow down my choices for what block to create. I have about 5 options at the moment and now that I have seen and touched the fabrics, I think I can shortlist it down to two.
I will make those into test blocks using other fabrics, saving the gorgeous Cloud9 fabrics for the final block.
Once all our blocks are done, blog posts posted, we will then be sending our blocks to Cheryl and the blocks will become charity quilts – they should look amazing with these colours!
FYI the shades we have are Shadow, Lilac, Iris, Sky and Amazon 🙂 Here are more of the Cirrus Solids colours.

That’s wonderful that you have several possibilities at this point. I plan to do a test for my block with other fabrics, too. I’m looking forward to seeing your block in September.
