Violet Crafts Atomic Starburst Sew Along

#atomicstarburstsal

This is a very relaxed sew along. What do I mean by that? There are no hoops to jump through you just :

  • sew along when you can
  • follow me @said_with_love on Instagram
  • post your progress to #atomicstarburstsal and
  • check out what others are doing and give them some support and love along the way.

Starting on July 1st I am going to do a few of the foundation paper pieced stars a week and at the end of July I will get to cutting out the diamonds and putting together my quilt top. I will blog and post each week with my progress and would love to see your progress too!

I am (as usual) going to change the layout of the pattern a bit… I don’t need to make a quilt quite that large, so I’ll be making less of the stars than in the pattern. Coz, you know, this is a relaxed sew along!

There may or may not be prizes for this sew along… I am gearing up for another big sew along starting in August that will have prizes, so don’t want to wear out all our sponsors!
