Jelly Roll Rug Weekend Class
Our classes are currently on hold until we know how things will progress. Keep in touch with us via our newsletter and social media to find out if this day will go ahead.
Have you been wanting to make a Jelly Roll Rug? Then come to the Quilt Barn and we can make a weekend of it and make them together!
These rugs are so great and addictive, you probably won't stop at one 🙂
Our weekend will get you from a jelly roll in the hand to a beautiful rug lying flat on the floor!
Come along and be walked through all the steps along the way, learning all the tips and tricks along the way!
We include the Jerry's Jelly Roll Jig tool in the class fee. This tool makes sewing the jelly roll into a ball sooooo much quicker and easier!
Class fee includes the pattern, Jerry's Jelly Roll Jig tool, morning and afternoon tea as well as a delicious lunch both days.
There will also be time for photo shoot of your jelly roll rug (or any of your other finishes you would like to bring!) around the gardens of our beautiful home.
Requirements: your own sewing machine that can handle thick material. A walking foot. A couple of jeans needles. An extension table for your machine to have as large a flat surface as possible.
A Jelly roll (we don't recommend batiks) and 2 cotton batting rolls. We can also provide a kit with these as well.
