Flannel Patchwork Quilt

By October 23, 2019blog

There is just something about sewing squares of beautiful fabric into a patchwork quilt…. I just love it! Simple sometimes really is just the best!

This was made from two charm packs (5″ squares) of Vintage Holiday (by Bonnie & Camille) flannel [fyi there are still some left in the shop for you!]….. it is sooo soft and cuddleable (yep, a new word!)

I used some Bonnie & Camille normal quilting cotton for the backing and the binding… and some simple swirls to quilt it.

And it is just so snuggly and cuddly! But before I get too cozy with it on the sunroom bed…. this one is going to be heading off to a little someone so that THEY can snuggle with it!

But not before it had it’s day in the sun with the neighbour’s tractor!

And whilst the ornament print is christmassy…. the overall quilt when seen from a little further back is just pretty 🙂
