Peekaboo Calendar Pattern

By July 8, 2017November 20th, 2017blog

Let me introduce my newest pattern, the Peekaboo Calendar!

As soon as I saw Tasha Noel’s Pixie Noel fabric line I just knew exactly what I wanted to create. And boy, the wait for the fabric to be released was hard 😉 The wait to release this pattern has almost been as long!

Pixie Noel just lends itself to fussy cutting, it is such beautiful fabric.

I might have ordered ‘a little bit’ of it 🙂 🙂

Each door leading up to Christmas Day opens up and reveals a sweet little fussy cut picture!

The little press stud looks like a door handle (or is that just me?!), so open the door handle and voila here is our sweet girl saying hi to a hedgehog!

The door has a matching press stud on the other side so that it stays open. So you can open each day as Christmas approaches and see the scenes reveal themselves.

I had such fun with the quilting… organic wavy lines that look like ski tracks in the snow! Heaps of fun to do and there was no ‘wrong’ at all! Very freeing 🙂

The pattern includes all the information to make the Christmas version with 25 opening doors, but it would also be great fun made with just 7 days leading up to a special birthday or holiday with fussy cut fabric specifically for that person.

Or keep the 25 doors and make an Eye Spy wall hanging!

My pattern was launched as part of the Xmas in July 2017 Pattern Bundle sale that was on in July 2017, however now it is available by itself for $12 AUD.
