The Quilt Barn is just outside of Daylesford, Victoria – about an hour and a half out of Melbourne. Set amongst stunning countryside, the Quilt Barn is the latest addition to the 100 year old country property.
We offer the Quilt Barn not only for our own classes, but for your own sewing adventures…. run your own class…. or host a WIP (work in progress) weekend…. maybe a regular sit and sew day….. or perhaps a full on a retreat weekend or week (accommodation is available nearby).
The main room seats up to 6 people with your sewing machines on our custom made red gum table and there are also some comfy chairs just perfect for hand sewing (or day dreaming). The huge windows provide glorious views over the lake and our resident ducks.
There are also other tables available for cutting and layout (or extra sewing space) as well as an iron and ironing board. A design wall is coming soon!
Upstairs we also have the Quilt Barn Attic which is another large space that can be utilised.
Fully air conditioned and heated the Said With Love Quilt Barn is a perfect get away sewing space all year around.
