Places to Stay near the Quilt Barn & Daylesford

If you are coming to one of our weekend classes and aren’t able to drive here and back each day, there are a plethora of places around us for you to stay!

These places are very nearby, and I have also included some links to the accommodation booking agents of Daylesford.

The Said With Love Quilt Barn is 15 minutes drive from either Creswick or Daylesford, and 30 minutes drive from Ballarat, 90 minutes drive from Melbourne.

End of the Line Railway carriage and signal box. A unique accommodation spot! A few people have stayed here and enjoyed it. Only about 5 mins from the Quilt Barn. http://www.endoftheline.com.au/
Orto – A lovely spot also only about 5 mins away between the Quilt Barn and Daylesford. My sister in law has stayed here and she said it was lovely. https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/24027618
Petite Fleur – another very close place (less than 5 mins away). No-one has stayed here yet. It looks basic. https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/21770988
There are also caravan parks at both Creswick http://www.creswickcaravanpark.com.au/ and in Daylesford https://daylesfordholidaypark.com.au/ both of which are 15 mins away from the Quilt Barn. The feedback from people who have stayed at the Daylesford one is during winter it is VERY cold. Pack extra winter woolies!
Just the other side of Creswick (on the Ballarat side so it is about 25 mins drive away) is the RACV Goldfields Resort. https://www.racv.com.au/travel-leisure/racv-resorts/our-destinations/goldfields-resort.html This is a lovely place, and if you are bringing family with you, they will be amply entertained whilst you are off quilting to your heart’s content!
