We had so much fun making the Jen Kingwell and Andrea Bair’s Boho Heart Quilt in 2021 that we decided to do it again in 2022!

This quilt looks absolutely stunning in any fabric you choose! My quilt is using mainly Alison Glass Art Theory fabrics.

The quilt along will start on February 1st 2022 and will go until end of May 2022.

The QAL (quilt along) will finish in end of May 2022.

How the Sew Along Will Work

First of all, you will need to sign up for to receive the Sewalong Newsletters. Click here to sign up for 2022 [SIGN UPS ARE NOW CLOSED]

Second you will need to purchase the pattern. If you are in Australia or New Zealand you can purchase the pattern booklet HERE (SOLD OUT SORRY).

Third – choose your fabrics! I will be using an Alison Glass FQ Bundle based on her Art Theory range. Check out our in stock FQ and F8 bundles here. And I am also using low volumes for the background.

Schedule

We will start making blocks on Tuesday the 1st of February 2022 and end in the May 2022.

I have split the blocks into weekly groups and, as there are quite a few blocks to make for this quilt, it does seem like a lot each week. BUT, before you panic and get stressed, there are catch up weeks throughout the schedule and this is just a suggested schedule for you.

If your life doesn’t allow for this much sewing, don’t worry, make what blocks you can, when you can!

And some of these blocks are quite simple and repetitive so you will be able to knock them over very quickly.

Blocks vary from 10″ down to 2″

The Quilt Along will finish on in May 2022 by sewing up your finished quilt top.

You can quilt and bind it at your own pace after that.
