Elizabeth Hartman is now a fabric designer with Moda and her brand new pattern called Show And Tell is coming out as a Moda boxed kit!

We just LOVE the pattern and are thrilled to be hosting a sewalong of Show and Tell.

Starting on the Monday the 27th of APRIL 2026, the sewalong will finish up on 31st August 2026.

Sewalong Details

SIGN UPS ARE NOW CLOSED. This will also sign you up for my fortnightly newsletters (which are fun!) and you will need to stay signed up for at least the duration of the sewalong.

The sewalong starts on Monday 27th April 2026 and ends on Monday 31st August 2026.

We will send out a welcome email as soon as you sign up and then once the sewalong starts, an email each week with what blocks we are doing that week as well as tips and tricks and the occasional video to show a particular technique.

You can join our Facebook Sewalong & Quilting Group (please don’t forget to answer all three member questions!) and we would love to see your pictures of your blocks and progress there. This is a very supportive and encouraging group!

EXPECTATIONS

This is going to be a fun and friendly sewalong…. enjoy your sewing time when you are able, ask questions in our Facebook group if you need additional help, or click reply on any of the emails to ask me a particular question.

But most of all, have fun, get to know some people doing the sewalong, maybe learn some new skills and enjoy making these cute blocks!

Show and Tell Kit or Pattern & Fabrics

For those who have ordered the quilt kit that Moda has created – this kit includes all the fabric for the quilt top and binding and it also includes the printed pattern. You are ready to go!

We are sold out of kits sorry!

If you are in the US, you can purchase the quilt kit from The Fat Quarter Shop early in the New Year.

Some people have seen a version on Instagram that was made with a darker background (next pic) and if you would like to make that your background darker instead of the lighter one, we have various Moda Bella solids available for purchase.

If you didn’t purchase a kit, you can still join in the sewalong by purchasing the pattern as a PDF downloadable from Elizabeth Hartman’s website.  You can either shop your stash or the pattern has the Moda Bella numbers that are used in the pattern.
