Well our Stitch Pink Sewalong for 2024 has come to an end… it is always a little sad when a sewalong finishes, but I can’t wait to see people’s quilt tops and finished quilts as the weeks (and lets be realistic, months) go by!
This week has been putting our quilt tops together and making the scrappy binding with the left overs.
And in this week’s video I talk through some options for quilting your finished quilts… either with an all over design, or with some custom quilting!
The cover version of A Side Of Hearts, that I made using the I Heart Ombre Metallics fabrics, I have quilted with an all over quilting design called Marmalade. It is non directional and gave some great texture to the quilt!
The Ombre Fairy Dust version I will be custom quilting and that will probably be after Christmas, so I will show it to everyone then!
