Welcome to the Celebrity Mother Hen week! (can you tell I have fun thinking of names for each of the weeks?!)
Our 12″ block for this week is the Celebrity block…. and this celebrity is a bit of a diva! Definitely a block to take your time with and to trim each section as you to keep on track to get a block that is 12.5″ unfinished!
Another chance to practice the four at once flying geese method… and maybe would be fun to see each star in different fabrics? Always something to have fun with in a quilt block!
The 6″ block for the week is a nice easy Mother Hen Hug block. Squares and rectangles… nice and easy!
I used one of the darker purple prints on the outer corners of the plus block to echo the purple setting block… but this block could look so different depending on where you put the colour or the background fabrics!
Can’t wait to see what everyone does with this one.
