Tammy (@tamarinis on Instagram) and Kate (@katecolleranddesigns on Instagram) have started a wonderful sewalong called Sisterhood!
They asked me to make one of the blocks to join in their sewalong and my block is coming up next week!
It isn’t too late to join in, the sewalong is free, but you do need to purchase the pattern. And it is a wonderful pattern! There are 30 blocks and three layouts with lots of detailed cutting instructions.
And then each week they send out a great newsletter with lots of information and tips as well as the blocks made by guests like me!
My block is number 22 and I was able to write a little spiel about a woman whom I admire….
I made this in honour of my sister-in-law Gail…. A woman who has overcome so much in her life, with grace, with determination and with love. And through it all, she gives so much of herself to others. An amazing role model to look up to.
I used Ombre Confetti fabric by V&Co as I am just totally in love with Vanessa’s Ombre fabrics at the moment!
