We are at the start of Week 3 of our very relaxed sewalong of the Atomic Starburst Quilt pattern by Violet Craft!

I can’t believe how well you have all been doing….. lots of starburst blocks and OMG, @ohscrapchic has already made ALL of her starburst blocks, AND her diamonds AND sashed them!! woohoo! I had better get my skates on!
I headed away for a couple of days to attend two days of bag classes with @patternsbyannie (the soft ‘n stable lady!) and the night before my classes started I set up in my hotel room and made a couple of starburst blocks! Hehe… every hotel room needs a cutting height table and a sewing table in them!!
As I had bought the greens from Clair’s Fabrics the week before, I got those starbursts made up!
The lighter green and the darker Alison Glass green
I am loving being able to use some of my low volumes that have touches of the star colour in them….. hoping it will look good once the whole thing comes together!
