The second quarter turned out to be quite productive and I managed to actually get some projects finished! (take a look at Q2 here)
This quarter I have a couple of sew alongs I am hosting so making those blocks (and my bee blocks) will take priority over finishing other quilts… but I hope to get my It Takes a Village quilt and my Girt by Sea quilt finished.
Joining @finishalong on IG for #2018FAL using the personalised tag of #2018FALSWL If you want to join in the fun check out www.sewofcourse.blogspot.com for more details.
It Takes A Village Dwell Quilt
Dwell blocks from #dwellswapdownunder and my patchworkswoon as the back. All in Bonnie and Camille.
I have finished this one and it has become my new favourite quilt! So many gorgeous blocks in here from all the ladies in the swap…. love it!
Girt by Sea Quilt
The quilt top is DONE!!! woohoo! Need to think about how to quilt it so this will have to go onto next quarter’s to do list. But soooo happy all the piecing is finished 🙂
Room & Board Quilt
My lovely bee mates have made all these amazing blocks and I have sewn them into a quilt top. Just waiting for my ‘back’ quilt to be sewn up (curved log cabin blocks!) and I can get this one finished!
Patchwork Sky Quilt
My other lovely bee mates have been making the gorgeous scrappy patchwork sky blocks. I have a few more to make from my own scrap stash and then this is getting a standard backing and its going to be done!
Freeform Patchwork Quilt
A beautiful muted neutral coloured freeform patchwork… this one is going to be lovely!
Atomic Starburst Quilt
Stunning pattern! This is being made from Alison Glass fabrics and will be backed with the mermaid print from Diving Board.
Running With Scissors Case
I went to a class with Annie from Patterns by Annie for this pattern and it was a blast! This is my new way to carry around all my tools and notions to classes! From my favourite Aria fabric!
Bowl Me Over Bag
This was one of the classes I took with Annie early in July. So happy I was able to finish this so that I can take it with me to the Australian Machine Quilting Festival in Adelaide at the end of September!
Charm Square Cot Quilt
With all these big projects that are just taking AGES to finish, I needed a quick little fun quilt in between…. my palette cleanser quilt!
Jelly Roll Rug
Yep, I drank the Koolaid and made myself a Jelly Roll Rug! And whilst it is time consuming, the end result is AWESOME!
I love all your projects! Your colour choices are really gorgeous; good luck with finishing!
Thanks! I love joining in the Finishalong as it helps to keep me accountable!
