We have just finished Month 8 of the Barn Star Sampler Quiltalong! This month we are showing you our Farmer’s Star block.

I tweaked things a little bit this month with the fabric placement on my first block… I wanted to get a real cross look too this block.
My second block I stuck to the pattern with placement, and I am in love with this block – so pretty!
My first use of Tula Pink’s Nightshade Deja Vu (the pink cloud print in the corners) but it definitely won’t be the last! I am pretty much all out of Nightshade Deja Vu in the shop, but the Fat Quarter Shop still has some but grab it quick – there are some gorgeous fabrics in there!
I have also laid out ALL my blocks and tweaked where they are going to be in the final layout. I show you that in the video too!

So now that I have my quilt all laid out, I have worked out what each fabric is going into all of the remaining blocks – now I am off to my sewing room to get sewing!
