Welcome back for month 9 of the Barn Star Sampler Quilt Along that I am doing in conjunction with the Fat Quarter Shop. This is the last of the mid sized blocks, so we are almost there!

This month’s block is the Peony Star (my favourite flower!) and this is what it looks like
There is actually a small border around this block which I didn’t want to have in my quilt, so I tweaked the sizing so that it would take up the whole of the block. If you subscribe to the sewalong and get my emails I have put the changed sizing in there.
Block A fabric pull is Tula pinks and greens
And block B has some Everglow hippos!
As I haven’t been feeling so well for the past couple of weeks, I used the Fat Quarter Shop’s foundation papers for both the Half Square Triangles and the square in a square – less thinking required!
