The Community Slowalong starts on Monday November 1st and you can find out more about the slowalong and how to join in on the Community Slowalong main webpage.
And there are still some fabric kits using the gorgeous Sincerely Yours fabrics available here.
But if you want to join in all the fun of this relaxed sewalong using your own fabrics, here are the fabric requirements.
I have assumed width of fabric (WOF) is at least 1 metre or 40″ wide in the following amounts. And as this is a sampler style quilt with lots of different blocks there is a lot of flexibility in here!
Accent Colour for the setting blocks: 25cm (10″) x WOF – I am using my favourite dark purple
Block colours: 16 fat quarters – I am using fabrics from Sincerely Yours but this can be scrappy. And 16 FQs will be AMPLE for the quilt… it will give you lots of options for colours within each block.
Binding: 0.75m (30″) x WOF
Background: 3m (3.25yards) I am using Moda Bella 200 which is an off white… but feel free to have fun with your background options!
Borders: 0.75m (30″) x WOF [Borders are optional… I am still of two minds whether to add them to my quilt top]
