After our week of flying geese I thought it best to have a slightly easier week! Wings and a Wreath shouldn’t be too hard to fit into your week.
Give Me Wings is the 12″block for this week…. I loved using my favourite fabric from the Sincerely Yours collection of those gorgeous purple hearts!
And our 6″block for this week is the Wreath Block which can look very different depending on where you put the coloured fabrics and the background fabrics. I chose to have some darker fabrics on the corners to echo the setting triangles and more of those gorgeous hearts in the middle, this time in the ivory colour way.
As our Community Slowalong originally started as part of the Stitch Pink month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness, I wanted to show you this wonderful hanging sculpture in the Breast Screen Victoria waiting room when I was there getting my biennial mammogram
It kept me entertained whilst I was waiting to go through for my mammogram!
