Another #farmgirlfridays here again already?! Where does the time go?
This first block for this week is the Mama’s Applique block – I really like this one! It is striking and I love the text print (yep, with a business name of Said With Love I do love a good texty print!)
But I spent most of this week working on the Mama’s Apron block….
This block isn’t going in my sampler quilt (you’ll understand why when I finally get that quilt top together!) so I wanted to make it into a separate little project…
And of course I couldn’t just leave the pattern alone…. it was just calling out for those pockets to be ACTUAL pockets!!
I fussy cut some of the Sweetwater Cookie Exchange fabric to make sure the the cookie recipe was ALL there and made them into cute little real pockets 🙂
And now this is what every kitchen needs…. a cute cushion, complete with place to put my cute little teaspoon measures! And having two handy cookie recipes isn’t going to go astray either!
