Well we are getting to the pointy end of the #icypolessal and I have been working on my North Stars blocks this week.

The Otter Twins – Olive and Ophelia
Hmmmm…… so I had a very limited selection of colours left in my Blueberry Park…. and well… these two pink/coral colours were just TOO much alike…. I really should have chosen two prints with more contrast…. Still, they are done and they are going in my quilt!
And I must be rubbing off on @thefabrichusband … because when I showed him these blocks the first thing he said was “there isn’t enough contrast” 😀 Yep, he really is a fabric husband!
Don’t forget that I have extended the end date of the sew along to give people enough time to make up their quilt tops / projects…. ahem… because I know I will need that extra time too! Though…pssst… my penguin party quilt has been quilted and is now finished!!! WOOHOO!
The final date to get the pictures of your finished quilt top, quilt, cushion, table runner etc is now 14th November!
