Welcome to my new jelly roll friendly pattern, the Rainbow Slider Quilt Pattern! This is the pattern we will be sewing on our Sew A Jelly Roll Day Sewalong on Saturday Sept 16th! (read down to the bottom for a coupon code!)
I was inspired by Rainbow Sherbet by Sariditty for Moda Fabrics and I couldn’t resist designing this fun, easy quilt to show off the rainbow gradient that is in that collection!
But if you aren’t wanting to use Rainbow Sherbet, this quilt will look gorgeous with a lot of different collections and fabrics… you just need five different colour groupings to get that gradient / rainbow slide across the quilt!
The pattern is written for not only jelly roll strips, but also Fat Eighth cuts – so you can totally use your stash to get an eclectic rainbow slide of your favourite colours!
I am going to be using a Bonnie & Camille Smitten jelly roll along with a few extras from my stash and I think it will look lovely.
This is our Sew A Jelly Roll Day Sewalong pattern for this Saturday 16th September – so grab the pattern and join us for our fun, relaxing sewalong (and there will be some prizes during the day too!)
The quilt pattern includes all the information you need to make the quilt top including a colouring chart. And the sewalong is going to also show you how to quilt the project and bind it!
So grab your supplies (there is a video showing a bit more of the quilt top as well as talking about the fabric requirements) and come and join us in our Facebook Sewalong and Quilting Group!
If you use the coupon code sliderblog you will get a discount on the pattern – this will expire on Sunday 17th September.
