Thank you to everyone who follows along from the US! I get so much inspiration from seeing all the amazing things that you are creating and making and I wanted to say ‘thank you’.
I recently ordered some fabulous things from the Modern Quilt Guild and then discovered they don’t send to Australia, so I got them sent to my friend Cheri in Oregon……. and I got extras so I could share with you!
This first tote bag has the Octopus from Sarah Watts of Crafted Moon and Ruby Star Society fame.
The second tote bag has THE cutest bear hugging a spool of thread (and having a good chat with the squirrel about how best to make a HST)… again drawn by Sarah Watts of Crafted Moon and Ruby Star Society.
These two tote bags are HUMUNGOUS…. and will hold the sewing needs of a small nation…. ok, well one quilter going on retreat or a sew day with friends! Here is a video that my friend Cheri made for me showing us all how much you can fit in these canvas tote bags!
And here is Cheri again (isn’t she so lovely to have done these videos for me ?! One day we will meet in person… until then I am just going to have to make do with watching videos!.) showing us how many quilt tops, backings and battings can fit in the bag to take to your longarm quilter!
And the third prize…. did I mention that THREE of you will get to win something?…. is this cool scissors on a string tool. I plan on using mine when I longarm…. I am ALWAYS looking for where my little scissors / snips are… this way they are going to be attached to me so I can find them every time!
Attach your scissors with the plastic press stud and attach the clip part to your shirt and voila… never go hunting for your snips again!
So…. how do you get in the running to win one of these prizes??
