July is going to be such a fun month!
First up I am going to have one of the Said With Love relaxed sew alongs for this beautiful pattern by Violet Craft.
A very relaxed sew along is where you just :
- sew along when you can (you can get super enthusiastic and sew ’em all in the first week or just do one block!)
- follow me @said_with_love on Instagram (so you can see my progress!)
- post your progress to #atomicstarburstsal (so everyone else can see what you are up to!) and
- check out what others are doing and give them some support and love along the way.

AND if you are close by we are having a class on Saturday 21st July to help you make the star blocks. These are foundation paper pieced and whilst I do find paper piecing a little fiddly, they enable us to make the most AWESOME blocks like these stars!
The class will take you through all the steps of foundation paper piecing including some of the things you shouldn’t do (coz, well, I have pretty much done all of those!!). The class includes the pattern by Violet Craft and lots of printed templates for you to work on during the day.
I am going to be doing my quilt a little smaller than the pattern and using my left over Alison Glass scraps from my Girt By Sea quilt (which is soooooo close to being finished!!).
