Woohoo! This sewalong has been wonderful….. so many amazing quilters have joined us and made amazing quilt tops!
Thank you everyone for joining in and making this the most wonderful sewalong I have hosted.
We have three prizes up for grabs for finished quilt tops and I’ll announce those Monday the 24th May – open worldwide for those who have been signed up and participating in the sewalong.
And now, to show you my finished quilt! Yay…. I have been hanging out to show the quilt.
I had originally planned to custom quilt my Boho Heart Quilt… but life had other plans…. I decided on an edge to edge digital pattern as I needed to get it finished in one day…. it still looks pretty good, and it lets the blocks and heart shape shine.
And on our quick holiday to South Australia to visit family and friends, we took the opportunity to take a few holiday snaps… in a beautiful B&B cottage…. in the Adelaide Hills and at Wynn’s in Coonawarra.
The backing is a wideback (available in our online shop) called I Love You…. just seemed perfect for a heart quilt!
And I made rainbow scrappy binding for it too which looks fab but I haven’t taken a picture of it yet!
I am feeling a bit sad that this sewalong is over…. but I am working on another sewalong that I’ll announce soon! And we will definitely be doing Stitch Pink in October again….. I will be offering kits and let you know more details soon.
I just bought the Boho Heart pattern to make my granddaughter a quilt for her wedding. I tried to sign up for the tutorial but it is closed. Is there any way I can view a tutorial to help me along? She is getting married in September 2021.

Hi Georgie! The best way will be to sign up to receive my fortnightly newsletter…. I talk about all the upcoming sewalongs (and other fabric and quilty things!) in there. Then, once the sewalong is going to be opened up again, you can sign up for that 🙂

Hi Joellen, I don’t sell my quilts, they are given to family and loved ones. You might try Facebook quilt groups ? Or your local quilt shop might be able to put you in touch with someone who makes quilts for sale. If this quilt was for sale it would be in the region of at least $1200
