Cookie Exchange Jelly Roll Patch

By December 22, 2018July 25th, 2019blog

My Jelly Roll Patch pattern is my go-to pattern for quick (but looks great!) gifts and quilts.

I put this one together during one of 2018’s Beginner Quilting classes where I teach the Jelly Roll Patch quilt.

And I quilted it on my Bernina Q24 – Lily the Longarm 🙂 My second quilt on my longarm and I tried out some free motion patterns as well as using rulers for the first time!

Cookie Exchange is a great fun christmas line, but I just loved the reds in it …. so much so I used it as the ‘background’!

And as it is Xmas time, there just had to be a photo shoot in the middle of Ballarat, complete with floral reindeer, santa’s sleigh and a humungous christmas tree!

They do fabulous decorations all around Ballarat for Xmas!

So from us here at Said With Love (and by ‘us’ I mean @thefabrichusband, myself and our melange of ducks and chickens!) we wish you a very Merry Christmas, surrounded by family, friends and loved ones.

And a wonderful, fulfilling and happy New Year!

Don’t forget the Charm Collective starting the first Thursday of January and our next Elizabeth Hartman sewalong , Norm & Nanette, starting at the end of February !

This quilt is one more of my fourth quarter Finishalongs #2018FAL  #2018FALSWL – I got into quite the swing of things as the year came to a close!
