Correspondence Hour Basket

By February 16, 2017March 1st, 2017blog

Ever since Kelly ( @kelbysews on Instagram) created the Hour Basket pattern (#hourbasket) I have made a number of them…. and LOVE THEM!

The original pattern is free on Craftsy  and Kelly has created a Friends of the Hourbasket pattern that has lots of different sizes for a nominal fee on Craftsy.

They fit fat quarter bundles beautifully and make shelves look much neater and are a FAB way of displaying your fabric from a particular line…. in a basket made of that same fabric!

I decided to use some of Tim Holtz’s Correspondence fabric (from www.sew-inn.com.au ) to make one for @thefabrichusband to try and get his office area a bit tidier…..

The fabric is all things postal and I used the maps fabric for the inner lining.

Makes a great storage container for all those pesky cables that seem to hang around (usually on the floor!).

Have fun making some!
