International Sew a Jelly Roll Day is on September 16th – and I thought I would join the party!
Moda has created the day’s own website www.projectjellyroll.com and they have a few blog posts up on The Cutting Table (the Moda blog) that explain what they are up to. It looks like a bit of fun and who doesn’t like an excuse to start a new project with a Jelly Roll?!
I am hosting a get together at my place (near Daylesford, Victoria) for a Jelly Roll sew-a-palooza with morning and afternoon tea included (lunch with be at a local pub).
I am going to sew up my Jelly Roll Patch pattern, hopefully in The Good Life if it has been delivered by then! If not, it might be one of these beautiful jelly rolls above. Well, except not the Winter’s Lane. That is totally off limits!
You are welcome to purchase my Jelly Roll Patch pattern and make one yourself, or to make any of your other favourite jelly roll patterns.
There will be a small $ fee to cover morning and afternoon tea and I think we will head to my local pub, The Swiss Mountain, for lunch.
BYO sewing machine, jelly roll etc and get ready for a fun day with some giggles and a chance to spend a day with some like minded people 🙂
Would love you to come and join in the fun of International Sew a Jelly Roll Day!
10am – 4pm near Daylesford, Victoria.
