It is time to get started on our Just A Tree wallhanging!
This week is about selecting your fabrics and then getting all the cutting done. So next week can be all about sewing!
I love having things prepared, so that when I get a few moments to sew I can just sit down and sew…. just relaxing, almost mindless sewing! Looking forward to that next week.
I have chosen Orchard by April Rosenthal for my tree fabric…. with a wonderful selection of low volume background fabrics to make sure those trees shine! A little bit of mint dot will be the binding (from Bonnie & Camille).
If you would like to grab some low volumes just like I am using, there are still a few available in the shop.
For this sewalong I have been doing a video each week to show how to do the requirements for the week….. videos always take so much longer than I anticipate!
QUESTION: I would love to get some feedback on whether just the emails are enough, or whether the videos really are worth the time they take to produce?
