Back in May 2023, the Sew Sampler box had this cute Mi Casa quilt pattern in it as well as the beautiful Fruit Salad fabric by Figtree.
And it caught my eye as a fun, pretty easy quilt to make. That Jolly Bar (42 pieces 5″ x 10″ from the collection) was cut up pretty darn quickly!
And those big Half Square Triangles were fun! A little different to my usual sized blocks!
The quilt top came together very quickly…. I love house quilts and this one has the house block framed perfectly in the middle!
The chooks as usual were very interested in the quilt hold…. a bit cold way back in late June!
Then it had to sit and wait for it’s turn on Lily the Longarm….. finally was able to quilt her up and then take some pictures!
The digital quilting design is called Marmalade and has swirls and circles and a few paisleys…. just lovely for some motion for this quilt!
And here she is in her glory! Mi Casa all finished and ready to be given to just the perfect person one day.
