What a fantastic sewalong this has been in conjunction with Make Modern Magazine! Thank you so much for everyone who joined in, made some blocks, commented and had some fun with us!
This is our last week of the sewalong and I can’t wait to start seeing some completed quilt tops (and then soon, quilted quilt tops!).
I decided to do custom quilting on the cover version of Moon Diamond, I just couldn’t resist the solid diamonds to play in!
Each different coloured row was quilted with a different pattern in the diamonds. So much fun!
The other version of Moon Diamond I did an all over design on. The vibrant colours and feature diamonds were enough WOW on this one, so the quilting was more low key.
This week’s video I talk about both versions. However you decide to quilt your Moon Diamond quilt, enjoy the process and have fun! I am a firm believer in a finished quilt is way better than a quilt top sitting on a shelf somewhere!
