Pattern Release – Rainbow Paint Can Quilt

By August 19, 2018August 21st, 2018blog

I am happy to release my Rainbow Paint Can Quilt Pattern!

Like the left-handed screw driver or the can of elbow grease, rainbow paint has been searched for high and low by gullible apprentices throughout the years! Now they can finally find one!

This is a totally double-sided quilt that looks like a can of rainbow paint with the various colours dripping out over the edge (complete with grey binding around three edges which makes the paint can).

This is such a fun quilt to make and uses a unique way of creating a double sided quilt!

Available now for sale as a PDF pattern download.

I had a ball quilting each paint ‘drip’ in the coordinating Aurifil thread colour 🙂

I hadn’t realised I had amassed such a collection of Aurifil! It really is my favourite thread and comes in such glorious colours that matched the Blueberry Park fabric by Karen Lewis Textiles perfectly!

Looking forward to seeing what people make with this pattern using the hashtag #rainbowpaintcanquilt !

I can just imagine this in Ombre Confetti Metallics…. hmm….. I might have a jelly roll in the stash…… 🙂
