May the Fourth Be With You!
Ok, so this blog post has nothing to do with Star Wars, but I love wishing people that on the 4th May each year!!
May the 4th however, DOES mean that the latest version of Make Modern Magazine is out and my Rainbow Paint Can Quilt pattern is in it!
I have had this in my head for quite a while now… because this isn’t just an ordinary rainbow colours dripping down the quilt pattern… it is a DOUBLE SIDED rainbow colours dripping down the quilt pattern 🙂 hehehe
This is the reverse side
It is great fun to put together and put together in a bit of a different way than you will be used to 🙂 If you aren’t a subscriber, go and grab a subscription (this is an affiliate link so I do get a tiny amount which helps me keep making fun things for you!) and download your copy today.
And I had such fun using a rainbow of matching Aurifil Thread for each paint drip
And I had a ball going through my Aurifil Thread stash and finding the perfect matches for each of the drip lines! I just love Aurifil thread – so much less linty than other threads I have used and the colours are just GORGEOUS!
Can’t wait to see some paint cans appearing around the world soon! Just use the hashtag #rainbowpaintcanquilt so I can see your makes!
I love that it is two sided; how awesome!
Thanks Yvonne! I just can’t resist making my quilts double sided!
Such a gorgeous quilt. I love your originality and the way your mind works. Both sides of the quilt are exciting. Congratulations on having it included in the magazine.
