Camille Roskelley has created the most gorgeous pattern, Edelweiss, for her new fabric collection Shoreline!
We are thrilled to be hosting a sewalong of the pattern which has come as a Moda kit.
Starting on the 1st May (giving people plenty of time to have their kits delivered or to find fabric if they missed ordering a kit!) the sewalong will finish up on 19th June 2024.
Sign ups are now CLOSED. This will also sign you up for my fortnightly newsletters (which are fun!) and you will need to stay signed up for at least the duration of the sewalong.
The sewalong starts on Wednesday 1st May and ends on Wednesday 19th June.
We will send out a welcome email as soon as you sign up and then once the sewalong starts, an email each week with what sections we are doing that week as well as tips and tricks and the occasional video to show a particular technique.
You can join our Facebook Sewalong & Quilting Group (please don’t forget to answer all three member questions!) and we would love to see your pictures of your blocks and progress there. This is a very supporting and encouraging group!

EXPECTATIONS
This is going to be a fun and friendly sewalong…. enjoy your sewing time when you are able, ask questions in our Facebook group if you need additional help, or click reply on any of the emails to ask me a particular question.
But most of all, have fun, get to know some people doing the sewalong, maybe learn some new skills and enjoy playing with Camille’s gorgeous fabrics!
Edelweiss Kit or Pattern & Fabrics
For those who have ordered the quilt kit that Moda has created – this kit includes all the fabric for the quilt top and binding and it also includes the pattern. You are ready to go!
These kits have sold out at Moda (next picture is of them stacked in their warehouse!), so we can’t get any more sadly, so if you see a shop that has a kit, grab it! At the time of writing this (13th March) we do still have some limited Shoreline widebacks available for your backing.
For those who didn’t manage to get the kit, you can still join in the sewalong by purchasing the pattern as either a PDF or paper version from Camille Roskelley’s website. You can also check out your local quilt shop for the paper pattern as well as fabrics.
The Fat Quarter Shop also has Shoreline fabrics available (affiliate link).
