This week, whilst everyone is still sewing up their quilt top, I am giving some suggestions on how to quilt your Edelweiss Quilt from our Edelweiss Sewalong!
I did a digital all over design on my Bernina Q24 longarm called Trillium – it is a floral/leafy design that gives lovely texture to a quilt without taking over!
Aurifil 50 weight thread in colour 1246 blended into the background and didn’t overpower the flowers or vine units which was just what I wanted! I also used the same colour on the back with the Shoreline wideback (which in real life is a deep navy not the grey colour it sort of looks like in this picture!)
