This week in The Avenue Quilt Along we put on the borders to our quilt top!
I had lots of fabric left from cutting my charm packs and as I started to make the border strips, I hung them up in my craft room whilst waiting to put them onto my quilt top
I had so much of the coloured fabrics left over, I might have gone ‘off script’ and added an extra border that isn’t in the pattern! It is one of the things I love about quilting….. you can always do something to make the quilt unique to you : )
Next week is our last week and I will be showing my finished quilt! yay! I finally managed to squeeze it into my longarm schedule. Can’t wait to show the finish.
