For August, the A Year Of Hearts block was actually THREE blocks!
As the main block has some pretty small pieces in it, I wanted to make some easier blocks for beginner quilters that don’t have such teeny tiny pieces in them!
So here is Hearty Mugs! Two cute little mugs (one with a heart on it) and two background hearts.
And there is some optional applique of some heart ‘steam’ coming off your hot beverage of choice (mine is hot chocolate by the way!).
But for those who don’t want to be fiddling too much with small pieces, there is a large heart mug
And also a solid mug that is perfect for fussy cutting some fun fabric!
Mine has some loving text on it! But you could have so much fun choosing fabric for this.
