Welcome back for month 4 of the Barn Star Sampler Quilt Along that I am doing in conjunction with the Fat Quarter Shop and a great group of bloggers.
{Please note there may be affiliate links in this blog – I get a small amount from FQS, your price is no different. This helps me to continue doing these sewalongs with you!}
Month 4 is called the Tulip Star and it is a lovely (and slightly smaller!) block.
This is a great block for some pops of colour! I have chosen these for my fabrics for the two blocks this month.
I put my cut pieces onto my Lori Holt Design Board from the Fat Quarter Shop (this is the 18″ one but I also have some of the smaller ones too) and mark my pieces with my Alphabitties.
In this month’s video I talk about some areas that can help with our accuracy – sometimes it is the small things done well that add up to a fabulous block!
Come back at the end of the month to see the reveal of my two blocks as well as those of the other bloggers joining in the Sewalong!
I had to come to your blog and visit just to share a picture of two of my barnstar quilt blocks! I’m not exactly sure how to share my pictures with you. If you are willing and able, I’d love to share my pictures with you!! I made Block 4 and Block 3! They are the first stars I’ve ever made, and I’m quite proud of them! Thank you for inspiring me to work on block 4!!
If you are on Facebook we have a Sewalong and Quilting group who would love to have you share your blocks!
