There is a new chair in my sewing room… the new Horn Lux-i chair and guess what, it comes in PURPLE!!!!

I spent some time whilst at AQC (Australian Quilt Convention) in Melbourne sitting on one and they are very comfortable!
A nice thick comfy seat and the back has great lower back support!
And it can go up quite high with the gas lift… so if you were sitting at a higher table your feet can rest on the circular metal foot rest just above the casters.
It is also available with optional arms and I got those as I am still not sure whether this will be my new sewing chair, or my new office chair! Sadly, as a small business owner I spend more time sitting at a desk and computer than I do sewing! And I need to be comfy in both places!

But did I mention, PURPLE!? Hehehe… it also comes in some lovely other colours, Sand, Pink, Lime, Blue, Ocean and Viola (purple), so there is a colour for everyone!

And as it is May and my birthday month (doesn’t everyone celebrate for a whole month?!), the chairs are on sale for $399 instead of the regular $449! The arms are an additional $49. Shipping is extra and changes depending on where you live.
The Height Adjustable sewing tables are ALSO on sale! $1749 including the perspex insert instead of the usual $1949! Shipping is extra.

So if you have been thinking about a better chair for your sewing space, this might be the one for you!
I kinda love it in my sewing room!! I might need two ; )

I’ve been looking at chairs to use at my longarm. Does this one go high enough for that?
Hi Cameron, oooh I haven’t tried using a chair for my longarm! From the specifications it can go from from 500mm up to 640mm. I felt that the highest it went up was way higher than any other office chair I had tried sitting on. My longarm is upstairs and I’m not sure how safe it will be for me (knowing my predilection for falls) to try and drag it up there :-/
Hmmm, I think I’ll get one anyway. I’m using my office chair at my sewing machine, so if not high enough for the long arm, I’ll use it at my machine instead! Thanks for replying.
