Moda Fabrics hosts the Sew A Jelly Roll Day (or Project Jelly Roll as it is also known as!) each year on the third Saturday of September.
So this Saturday, 17th September, is ‘get out a jelly roll and sew up a storm’ day! : )
We have some gorgeous Jelly Roll’s in stock at the moment – order yours this week (ending 16th Sept) and I will upgrade you to Express Shipping for no additional cost. But if you are not in Australia, the Fat Quarter Shop has a wide range of Jelly Rolls that you can check out.

My favourite Jelly Roll pattern is my Jelly Roll Patch pattern which uses an entire jelly roll and is a double sided quilt! This one is throw size but there are two other sizes in the pattern too that use more jelly rolls.
Though, I also love my Rainbow Paint Can pattern which uses a jelly roll and has a unique double sided construction method!
And this year, I made Charisma Horton’s A Bright Corner pattern (we have the PDF pattern plus her banana split templates available) and I just love this quilt! I made mine with Hole Punch Dot jelly rolls
Moda has also released four wonderful jelly roll patterns for free! Click on the image to download the PDF pattern.
And my personal favourite (I’m so tempted for this one, but we have family commitments this weekend doh!!) is Squared Up. A good size quilt and would look great in pretty much every jelly roll I can think of!
I hope you have fun on Sew A Jelly Roll Day and don’t forget to use the hashtag #projectjellyroll2022 when you post on social media.
Sounds fun & although I may take part, it will be on my lonesome as I don’t do social media. Thanks for the reminder. Take care & hugs.
