Each year Moda Fabrics has a Sew A Jelly Roll Day celebration! All about sewing up a storm with the gorgeous rolls of 2.5″ by width of fabric strips they call a Jelly Roll. #projectjellyroll is the hashtag on Instagram to follow the fun.
I love sewing with pre-cuts (like jelly rolls, charm packs etc) and there are soooo many wonderful patterns around using these pre-cuts.
My Jelly Roll Patch Quilt Pattern is one of them, and is my go-to quilt pattern for gift giving….. it can look so completely different depending on the jelly roll fabrics chosen! And it is a double sided quilt, so there are two gorgeous sides to show off and it uses the entire jelly roll plus background fabric! And the pattern includes three sizes.
And there are so many wonderful jelly rolls available in stock now, so you can select a wonderful one to be shipped to you in time to join in the sewalong on Saturday September 18th!

Hi Anne.
I love Savannah Square but it’s a bit big for me yet following my hands surgery in the last twelve months however, really love all of them but bought your pattern. Think this is the one I’ll make. I have lots of Jelly Rolls, some I’ve purchased from you lol, will think about what I want to use. Thanks for the opportunity and for asking how I’m doing, really apprecaite your thoughtfulness.
Warm hugs
Julie
Savannah Square does look good, doesn’t it! The slow road to recovery must be frustrating! Hopefully Jelly Roll Patch will be a nice simple one but with a double sided surprise for the recipient! Take care and hugs right back!
