It is our first week of The Avenue Quilt Along! I love the excitement of starting a new project, don’t you?
Week 1 is about selecting your fabrics and cutting out the tree pieces using the acrylic templates that come with the pattern. (If you purchase just the paper pattern by itself there are paper templates you can cut out in templastic or just use by themselves….hint: the acrylic templates make life easier!)
I have created a short video showing how I cut out using the acrylic templates… one of them is a bit tricky!
