If you have been reading my blog or following me on Instagram for any length of time, you will know that I just LOVE Winter’s Lane fabric by Kate & Birdie, and the release of Return to Winter’s Lane in the middle of 2018 was very exciting!
I had an idea for a quilt pattern as soon as I saw the first sneak peeks of the fabric, but boy, the actual writing and testing and making of the quilt pattern took me waaaaay longer that I had anticipated!
So here it finally is! My Window over Winter’s Lane quilt pattern!
The quilt pattern is available now as a PDF download and comes with instructions for THREE different sizes! (yep, that is what took me so long!)
The picnic rug size (pictured) is 54″ square and is just perfect for throwing on the ground and putting out the snacks for a lovely afternoon under a tree 🙂
The table topper is 32″ square and just perfect as a table centre piece.
And the throw size at 65″ square will be wonderful as an extra top quilt on a bed. Or snuggling under whilst reading a book 🙂
I made my picnic quilt with a large cross backing (instructions for this are not included in the pattern) just to add some extra interest for the back.
And as usual, the ducks were very curious about this whole quilt photo shoot thing we were doing in the back yard!
