Welcome to 2019! I love starting off the year with all the possibilities stretching out in front of me…. quilts to make, bags to make, patterns to create, people to meet, inspiration to be had!
So my goals for 2019 are :
- Continuing the classes in the Said With Love Quilt Barn – a few new fun things are being planned
- Starting my longarm quilting side of the business will also be exciting (and probably a bit challenging!)
- Sew alongs and the Charm Collective….. what a ride 2019 will be!
Check out my plans below for quilts to be finished in the first quarter of 2019!
Joining @finishalong on IG for #2019FAL using the personalised tag of #2019FALSWL If you want to join in the fun check out www.sewofcourse.blogspot.com for more details.
Patchwork Sky Quilt
My lovely bee mates from last year made me the gorgeous scrappy patchwork sky blocks. This has quickly become a favourite quilt! Love the quilting on it!
Simply Charming Quilt
The first of the Charm Collective charm pack quilts. Quick and easy and so cute in different fabric lines! First finish and release of 2019!
Simply Charming On Point Quilt
The bonus extra for the subscribers to the Charm Collective. Another quick and easy quilt using charm squares!
The second finish and release for 2019!
Girt by Sea Quilt
Only the quilting to be done on this one……. can.not.wait. This top will be up soon on Lily the Longarm. I have some fun ideas!
Well this one didn’t make it up onto the Longarm this quarter…. I had too many customer quilts to do!!
A Bunting Charmer
February’s Charm Collective pattern coming your way in the first week of February is a fun and clever way to make bunting!
3 Panes a Charm Quilt
This one charm pack pattern came out in the March issue of Make Modern Magazine! It the March pattern for the Charm Collective using the beautiful Nest fabric from Lellaboutique.
Teresa Downunder Blog Tour
Time to crack out all the hoarded fabric this year! This one is made with an April Showers layer cake!
FQS Jolly Bar Bonbons Quilt
Another great quilt along with Fat Quarter Shop using their Jolly Bar precut! I have selected Bloomsbury by Frannie and Jane.
Jelly Roll patch in B&C Handmade
I have had this partially made as a sample for my beginner quilting class. Had hoped to get this one finished in 2018, but got stuck deciding what background fabrics to use!
Have decided on the background fabric (charcoal Moda Bella solid) and will finish this during the Jelly Roll Patch quilt class weekend in May.
Gorgeous projects on your list! Thanks for joining us x
