Wow… from deciding to get this WIP out and finish it up hasn’t taken that long at all! I was able to pop the quilt up onto Lily the Longarm and do a very quick and simple loopy circle design all over. Sometimes you just have to give yourself permission to do the simple (and quick!) things!
I took the quilt with me on my trip to South Australia as I was still sewing down the binding!
I used up all the scraps of fabric to make the scrappy binding… very cute!
And as I was binding it at my friend’s house (whilst catching up on all the happenings in her and the kid’s lives!) she fell in love with the cute gnomes…. and now the quilt has it’s forever home in the Adelaide Hills!
I love giving quilts away … it is like leaving a hug from you with them!
