Woohoo! Sorry I missed a week blogging about the Boho Heart Quilt Along…oops!
Week 12 was Dentist week…… yep, we made Saw Tooth Star blocks (I crack myself up)…
I love a good star block, and the Ohio Star blocks from previous weeks got me itching to do a star quilt…… but not just yet! I have a Boho Heart quilt to finish!
So we made some larger saw tooth stars…. and then some smaller ones
I love finding a cute bee or bird in my cutting (which wasn’t intentional most of the time!)
And then the last of the flying geese blocks (thank goodness!! they really are not my favourites…. love the look, just don’t love making them!).
And then it was time to start putting all the blocks out in a layout that looked good. I had my blocks up on my design wall for a LONG time…… this was what I started with
(my design wall is in the darkest room of the house of course!). I didn’t love this layout, but I kept on tweaking….. stay tuned for what the (almost) final layout looked like in my next blog post!
