I finally have all my fabric sorted for my Cross Plus quilt I am making with my Tula fabrics for the #sewmyprecious sew along!
I tossed and turned about what to put in the centres (the plus part) of each of the blocks.
And finally have decided that a number of them (not all though) will have these pink centres!
The pink is pretty strident, but I was really wanting some pink in there, so I’ll see how all the blocks look together – there might be some mix and matching of different centres around the quilt.
and when I finally got the first three blocks done and popped up onto the design way, you can see the way the pink is going to create a secondary pattern.
This #sewmyprecious sew along is open for anyone to join in….. if you want a reason to crack out your beautiful fabrics that are gathering dust on a shelf somewhere, then this is it!

I have chosen to make a Cross Plus quilt because I have had it on my want list for ages now….. and no time like the present!
As we are all at home a lot more than usual, sewing with beautiful fabrics you love is a lovely way to pass the time.
