Thanks for everyone joining in on the relaxed sewalong of the Atomic Starburst Quilt pattern by Violet Craft!
Our very relaxed sew along goes for the month of July and we are making these gorgeous foundation paper pieced starburst blocks then the diamonds and quilt top. For a bit of a recap about the sew along have a read here.

This is my next block – I just LOVE that Alison Glass pink!
And I have been cutting out the diamonds for each colour as I go along. Once I get a few more blocks done I will be starting to work on my layout (which will be a little smaller than the pattern so not quite as many blocks required).
(sorry the pic is a little blurry…. I must have been in hurry to get my pics done this day! Not much good light in the midst of our winter.)
I have started on my green blocks and will show you those next weekend! And now I want to go and make some more blocks… but I have a friend’s quilt to finish quilting for her very rather belated birthday present…so I better get back to it!

I seem to find these “sew alongs” after they’ve happened but this time I’m gonna read about it here and do it anyway.
