New Year and some new blocks for our Community Slowalong, a relaxed and fun sewalong that will be going until early February. Each week we are doing two blocks… a 12″ block and a 6″ block in a setting to make it into a 12″ block. All coming together to make a wonderful quilt.
This week’s 6″ block is a Log Cabin block. These are such fun and really are a building block that can be so much fun.
The 12″ block this week is a bit fiddly and you will definitely need to take your time and pinning will be your friend!
Fabric selection is fun with this one…. selecting similar colours (or even the same fabric) for the pinwheel arms make the block really come together.
