We have been having fun and it is VERY relaxed sew along. Some people are doing the full quilt, others a smaller quilt, some just a table runner from their favourite blocks. For me, xmas is all about love. Spending time with family and reflecting back on the year gone past and the year to come. So I was looking forward to making a few of this block!
Here is my first pink heart.
And looking at this one finished, I probably should have used a darker box/wrapping colour as those glasses are a bit light. Still I like it and it will make it into the finished quilt 🙂
Here is my red heart block! I couldn’t resist adding in one of the prints from the new Cotton and Steel xmas – Noel! Those snowmen are very funny!
What has been your favourite block so far in this sew along?
My favorite so far has been the heart! I felt like I could push the limits with it a little. But, I must say that seeing others HST blocks made me rethink being “safe” with my blocks. Thanks all for making me be brave!
I have been amazed at all the different blocks that people have been doing! Keep being ‘brave’ – your quilt is going to look fab!
